Must Have Rechargeable Table Lamps For Any Room Under £100

Curated pieces that will bring light to virtually any space, no sockets required.

Rechargeable table lamps might quite literally be one of the best inventions since sliced bread. No sockets available? No bother. Unsightly wires? You don’t have them. Now, even the darkest corners of your living room, kitchen or bedroom can feel ambient and cosy throughout the seasons.

Whilst they’re not a new invention, in the last 6 months they have become much more accessible for price point, and there are so many more options now available from the high street.

Layered lighting is so important in a lighting scheme, this involves the use of a few different lighting sources to create an ambient scheme that works depending on the tasks involved in the room. These little lamps are truly power houses, and they’re just perfect for popping in any room that needs an extra touch of warmth and ambience.

I’ve pulled together 9 nifty little lamps that all come under £100, some even under the £50 mark which are still packed full of style, and will win you function points in your lighting scheme too.

Pooky were pretty much the leaders in rechargeable table lamps, and have since been joined rank by some of the most loved high street stores to bring us a more economical price point.

I personally always find myself being drawn to rattan table lamps as they just lend themselves so well to an earthy or coastal inspired interior, this wicker scallop table lamp from M&S is a steal at £49.50, straight in my basket! The perfect number to add to a console table in your hallway, or a cosy reading nook in your living room.

You can have some serious fun with your colour choices too, the portable table lamp from Abigail Ahern in the punchiest apricot shade is adorable, one of the most petite from my round up and the sweetest offering to a large rattan tray on top of a pouffe. Chefs kiss.

Also, if you have an existing lamp that you love but no where to plug it in, safely cut the wire when not in use, and get yourself a rechargeable LED bulb to pop into it, and hey presto, you’ve got yourself a wireless lamp that you love.

I’ve done this in my own living room, it’s the perfect solution for much larger lamps as currently the market is only dominated by narrow or tiny table lamps, albeit still very lovely.

Take your pick, it’s the best kind of adult pic ‘n’ mix there is!
