Striped home decor is having a bit of a moment, and I’m 100% here for it. There’s no such thing as having too many striped jumpers, and the same definitely applies for striped home decor goodness.
If you’re not quite ready to consider full scale pattern in your home, stripes offer a neutral middle ground. Enduringly timeless, and they can be a gentle way to tip your toes into using more colour in your interior.
There’s some unexpected and lovely ways to use stripes including striped mounts within frames, and switching up your bed linen to incorporate a tasteful stripe. And, if you are a pattern lover, this one is for you too, as pairing a stripe with a ditsy floral is a beautiful way to get some balance going.

The ‘decor drop’ is part of my new weekly shopping edit, packed full of purse friendly options to help you get the look for less.
Each week you will find a new edit of trending items straight from the high street, kicking off with stripes which are leading the way in interiors now for a punchy pop of fun.
I’m always on the lookout for designer items on a budget, because I believe a beautiful interior is one that should be accessible to everyone. This week’s round up includes items which all come in under £50, with some steals like the blue striped wavy side plate from Dunelm which is only £3.50!
Whether you’re a maximalist at heart or love coastal inspired interiors, a good stripe is one that can be enjoyed by pretty much all interior design styles.
Whilst you can have a lot of fun with stripes, I find just one or two max items in a stripe is all a room needs to avoid it overpowering the look.
This weeks round up includes some rather lovely lamps and lamp shades to elevate your existing lighting setup, some super cosy and stylish bed linen, and some decor accent pieces that are affordable ways to add a trendy, and spring like feel to your interior.
